Anto Magzan was born in 1979 in Zenica, and has lived and worked in Zagreb since 1998. He started his professional path at the daily newspaper Večernji list in 2006, going on to work at the Pixsell photo agency, covering news, reports, shows, portraits, and fashion. Since 2017, he has been working as an independent artist, simultaneously pursuing artistic, journalistic and commercial photography. To date he has exhibited at twelve solo and over 60 group exhibitions.

He is a member of the Croatian Journalists’ Association (HND), Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association (HZSU), The Croatian Association for the Protection of Journalists’ Copyright (DZNAP) and Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH), where he was president of the Supervisory Board from 2017-2022.
