Can we live under masks or is literature there to take them off, to show the world as it is or as it could be? In 2020, everything has turned upside down and nothing will be as it was before – nothing but the deepest human need to narrate and listen to stories and poetry. Literature and culture are essential in every time of crisis, including this one, and in fact only in such times do we realize that our basic life needs are much greater than just food and housing.
