Every year, on Republic Day, Jajce becomes a place of pilgrimage. In the hall where decisions were made in 1943 that shaped an entire country, people still gather – with partisan caps, flags, and memories that are some their own, some inherited.
The photographs follow that atmosphere from the inside and out: the original museum setting, faces in the crowd, details that carry more than they show. A star embroidered on a cap. A flag draped over a shoulder. A song someone still knows by heart.
Not nostalgia, not quite protest. Something in between – as it always is with Bosnia.
